Dear Friends of Gospel Rocks Ranch,
We had a very special camp season this year. It was a joy for me to see each of your gifts being shared together to build and start this ministry. It reminded me of Ephesians 4:16:
He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
And that sharing of gifts bore fruit through Gospel Rocks Ranch, with over 100 kids hearing the gospel, and at least 2 kids trusting Christ as their Savior.
Think of it, the Creator of the universe, King over all, and Redeemer of mankind took each gift you offered; a prayer, a high five, a horse ride, a $25 or $250,000 gift, a gospel message, a snow cone, and so many other things – and He used these in His all-wise way to bring souls into His Kingdom. Now, there will be at least 2 more crowns at Christ’s feet and at least 2 more voices praising God for eternity.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The 2023 camp season was busy, but the off season will be just as busy. Our top priority is to deepen our volunteer roster to accommodate more campers and more camps. We have been contacted by multiple churches to minister to their children. As we have been praying that God would give us nets bursting with fish, we are excited that people are seeking us out. We are confident that we will have as many opportunities to share the Gospel with children as we can handle. But we need more volunteers, backup volunteers, and backup backup volunteers.
During the off season, we will also be turning toward fundraising and building. We shortened our first camp, knowing that the temperature would be 106 degrees. Our second camp witnessed nearly 2 inches of rain, which “dampened” our plans for a full day of all 9 activities. We are in the process of building a multi-purpose ministry building, which will allow us to still have camp even when weather is not cooperative. It will be climate controlled, have a full basketball court, kitchen, and game area, as well as lodging for out-of-town volunteers. We are launching a full-blown fundraising blitz to try to build this building before our next camp season. We currently have a $100,000 matching challenge, which means that all of our fundraising efforts will be doubled. If we can achieve this, we should have the means to finish the slab for the building, and start putting up the building shell. Having this building finished prior to next camp season will allow us to do camps all throughout the summer, not just before and after the summer. It will also allow us to expand the facets of our ministry to be a year-round ministry to many different walks of life.
The third priority for our off season will be to develop our discipleship program. The mission of Gospel Rocks Ranch is not only to evangelize, but also to disciple. We will work to contact churches, recruit godly men and women, and train them to disciple children. We have the curriculum in place, and leadership to start discipleship training ASAP. We believe that this discipleship branch will bring community transformation as the Gospel and biblical teaching will reach the families of these children and bring the families into the local churches.
Thank you again for your love and support. We could not ask for a better team to help us get launched. All the smiles on our website are a testimony to your work and sacrifice. I thank our God for every one of you and look forward to serving Him shoulder to shoulder with you in this next year.
For His Kingdom,
Jon Hager
President, Gospel Rocks Ranch

Thanks Dr. Hager! I intend to come after the holidays to see where you could use me. Thank you for sharing this with me. It sounds like the answer to my prayer.
